AS THE Algarve warms up, Zonda, the barbeque shop, and WineMine have joined forces to create a series of wine and barbeque tastings, the first of which will be held on March 23.
There is no better way to spend a couple of hours than sampling nibbles from the barbeque, sipping wine and picking up a few tips from the experts. You can find out which wine goes best with barbequed fish or spicy chicken, prawns or sausages as WineMine staff will be available to suggest the wines that will make dining a pleasurable experience. They will also be offering some of their favourite Portuguese and South American reds and whites.
You will also be able to see the entire range of barbeque products available at Zonda for enjoying food on warm summer nights. The chef will be offering tips to make food taste exquisite and helpful hints for cooking on a barbeque. This event is the first in a series of monthly events to be held at the Zonda shop on the last Friday of each month, between noon and 2pm.
The alfresco wine and dine will be held at the new Zonda showroom, 700 metres west of the Quatro Estradas cross roads on the EN125 near Almancil. Everyone is welcome and entry is free.
