Production of copper and zinc concentrates at the Neves-Corvo mine, in Castro Verde, Alentejo, is expected to increase over the next three years, the owner of concession company Lundin Mining has said today. According to the annual report from Swedish-Canadian multinational production of 100,000 to 110,000 tons of zinc is expected at this mine this year. In the following years, production will rise to 130,000 to 140,000 tonnes in 2024, and to 140,000 to 150,000 tonnes in 2025, says the company’s latest annual report.
