Revamped and now called “Caminheiros”, the Alcoutim and Sanlúcar de Guadiana Hiking Festival returns with its famous cultural hikes on September 21, 22 and 23.

Returning on September 21, 22 and 23 with a new name and image, “Caminheiros is the new format of the Hiking Festival, which is expanding its activities throughout the year to provide unique moments of connection with nature, culture and local gastronomy, respecting the cycles of products and the region”, says the municipality in a statement.

The festival returns with its themed walks that explore the cycles of local products, such as cheese, honey and aromatic herbs, providing a complete and authentic experience. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with local producers, learn about traditional techniques and taste the region’s unique flavours during the three-day event.
