Alcoutim is preparing for its sixth walking festival (Festival de Caminhadas de Alcoutim), taking place on March 8, 9 and 10.
Organised by Alcoutim municipality, in collaboration with the Ayuntamiento de Sanlúcar de Guadiana, the festival is supported by the Algarve Tourism Board and Almargem environmental association.
Hiking trails in Alcoutim and Sanlúcar de Guadiana will have different levels of difficulty and there are 17 themed walks for participants to choose from.
Some of the routes are free while others cost from €5.
