Alcoutim restaurants offer tasty regional dishes

Alcoutim is hosting the spring edition of its popular gastronomy festival ‘Sabores da Serra ao Rio’ (Flavours from the Mountain to the Sea).

This first half of the event started on April 2 (Saturday) and will continue until May 1, while the autumn edition will be held in November.

Every weekend this month, people will be able to visit 14 local restaurants and enjoy a variety of regional dishes, ranging from fried eel and broad beans (favas) with chorizo sausage to ‘caldeiradas’ (fish stews) and ‘migas’ (a traditional dish made with leftover bread).
