A new possible solution to the problems of parking in the Rossio area of Alcoutim will see the car park located next to the Cadavais de Alcoutim bridge in the village expanded by a further 45 spaces.
A spokesman for Alcoutim Câmara said: “The project has been awarded €149,000, with works expected to begin by the end of the month.
“We hope the new car park will provide a more functional space that is in keeping with the architectural landscape of the village.”
