Alcoutim will host a walk-race that is free and open to everyone on Wednesday, April 24 – the day before the national Carnation Revolution holiday.
Organised by the Portuguese sports and youth institute, the event “aims to encourage the population from all over the Algarve to regularly exercise and have healthy lifestyles”.
There will be two routes (4kms and 9kms) to choose from. The event begins at 9.30am.
