Athletes of all ages and levels are encouraged to participate in the half marathon or six-kilometre walk.
Alcoutim’s Half Marathon is back on December 1st. The race, scheduled to start at 10:00 am, will depart and finish at the Ponte dos Cadavais, announced the municipality.
The half marathon is around 21,100 kilometres long, while the walk, which starts simultaneously, will cover a distance of six kilometres.
The competition is aimed at athletes from all areas of individual or collective sports, such as teams, groups, gyms and families, from junior, senior and veteran levels, with a limit of 250 participants per event.
Half marathon entries are mandatory and must be completed using a form available on the Algarve Athletics Association website, with an associated cost of €5. The walking event is free. However, registration is necessary and can be made by calling 281 540 500 or emailing [email protected].
