Rockferry, the debut album by Welsh artist Duffy, was the biggest selling album in the UK in 2008, shifting a massive 1.5 million copies to date.
The petit young blonde from Nefyn in North Wales burst onto the music scene and revived classic 60s soul with her cheeky lyrics and haunting voice.
The enormous hit single Mercy won the Mojo award for song of the year while Duffy also picked up three nominations at this year’s Grammy Awards.
Although she is now hugely famous, Duffy takes everything in her stride: “I try not to feel that I’ve changed. I still want to hang out with my friends and have a drink.”
