A new music festival ‘Albufeira Summer Live’ which aims to promote Albufeira by having artists perform at the municipality’s most stunning locations will begin this Friday (July 17) and will be streamed online on Facebook.
The location of each performance is being kept a secret, although the council has revealed that the first act – DJ Wilson Honrado – will perform at 7.30pm, followed by DJ Diego Miranda at 8.30pm.
The line-up for the festival’s following days includes Pete Tha Zouk and Luizinho B2B Jay Martin (July 31), Kura and Bubba Brothers (August 7) and DJ China, Nuno Lopes and The Gift (August 20).

Albufeira Mayor José Carlos Rolo says the council must continue investing in the “promotion of its landscapes, of its entertainment and in the joy and happiness that it provides to those who visit us”.
The goal of the festival, he says, is to “show those who cannot visit us a little bit of our municipality, from its colours to its unique landscapes”.
