ALBUFEIRA CÂMARA is staging an entertainment spectacular tonight (Friday, February 4) at the borough’s municipal stadium, in an effort to raise funds for the victims of the tsunami tragedy.
Due to begin at 8pm, the show promises an extensive line-up of local bands, singers and dancing troupes, including the Fanfarra dos Bombeiros Voluntários de Albufeira (fire brigade musical group) and the Rancho Folclórico de Albufeira (folklore group). The performers are providing their services free of charge and all proceeds from the tickets sold will be donated to tsunami charities.
Tickets for the show can be purchased for five, 10 or 15 euros, according to the amount the purchaser wishes to donate, and can be obtained from Albufeira Câmara, tourism information points, Hotel Paraíso, Hotel Brisa Sol or Hotel Montechoro. Tickets will also be available at the stadium on the day of the concert.
