Albufeira receives tourism students  from Holland

The agency that promotes Albufeira as a tourist destination, APAL, welcomed a group of tourism students from Friesland University in Holland for a week long visit to the council.

During the field trip on March 26, APAL explained the tourism development model of the Algarve to the students, with particular reference to Albufeira council including its primary resources such as beaches and landscape, as well as its secondary resources that allow it to diversify its tourist offer.

APAL also introduced the students to the Slow Cities concept, where gastronomy plays a relevant part as well as nature tourism with activities such as bird watching and walking.
