THE OFFICIAL opening of Albufeira’s municipal swimming pools took place recently and to celebrate the event, entry is free until the New Year.
The complex can host a range of activities, from water adaptation classes for babies, beginners’ swimming classes for adults and children, and swimming classes for improvers, to mini water polo, hydrogymnastics, hydrodeep, recreational hydrotherapy and ante and postnatal exercise classes. The complex is open from 9am to 9pm (closing between 2pm and 3pm) during the week, between 9am and 6pm (breaking between 2pm and 3pm) on Saturdays, and from 9am until 1pm on Sundays. The pools are closed on December 24, 25 and 31 and on January 1.
