Albufeira is being promoted online as a “destination of choice and the true capital of tourism in Portugal,” according to new website albufeira.pt
Pictures, an events agenda, news from the municipality and suggestions of what to do while in Albufeira are all available on the site.
Currently, the site is only available in Portuguese but a spokesman for Albufeira Câmara told the Algarve Resident that there are plans to have the site made available in English and Spanish, although an exact date for this to happen has yet to be set.
