Good news today from Albufeira: mayor José Carlos Rolo – rushed to hospital with a pulmonary emergency on August 25 – is well on the mend and expected to rejoin his municipality’s electoral campaign ‘shortly’. ‘Ser Albufeira’ Facebook page has described its “enormous delight” in receiving the update, describing “the many thousands of messages of support and solidarity” Mr Rolo has received from “the people of Albufeira”.
