CORKS POPPED at the launch party of Boatshed Algarve.com to celebrate the inaugural Albufeira Marina Regatta. Kiss fm broadcast loud and live during the party, while 200 people cheered and waved at the returning yachts.
The sailing was held over two days and culminated in a formal presentation dinner. Winners of the first Albufeira Marina Regatta, sponsored by Boatshed.com and Capítulo V, were the crew led by skipper Paulo Sena, on board Poisidon/Marina de Albufeira. Russell Francis from Boatshed Algarve.com, who presented some of the prizes, said: “We are delighted, as premier yacht brokers, to have the opportunity to support sailing in the Algarve.” Families enjoyed a barbecue at Boatshed Algarve’s new premises in the heart of the marina.
