Albufeira hotel accolade

The Vila Galé Cerro Alagoa hotel in Albufeira has become the first in Portugal to be recognised as a “Responsible Hotel Club”.

The hotel gained a score of 89.45% in a survey by SGS, an inspection and testing company, with the hotel being assessed in various areas including environmental protection, food safety and ethical behaviour.

Rosário Ribeiro, from the Vila Galé Cerro Alagoa, said: “It is very important for us to receive this award as it represents all our efforts over the past years to live up to the requirements set out in this certification of being a responsible hotel to both our staff, clients  and the environment.”
