A magic festival featuring magicians, illusionists and mind-readers will be taking place between Friday (June 19) and Sunday (June 21) at Palácio de Congressos do Algarve in Herdade dos Salgados, Albufeira.
Entitled Abrakadabra, the festival will open at 9.30pm with a performance by João Blümel, who combines magic tricks with his “sophisticated mind-reading techniques”.
On the following night, bird lovers will be in for a treat as Lanyrack & Faty will put on a show mixing exotic birds with illusion tricks.
But the festival’s highlight was left for the closing night, which will feature an illusion show put on by the famous Portuguese magician Luís de Matos.
The event is organised by Press Hapiness with the support of NAU Hotels & Resorts and Albufeira council.
Daily tickets cost €10 while a three-day ticket costs €27. A family ticket for four people (two adults and two children up to 12) is also being sold for €36.
Tickets can be purchased at the Palácio de Congressos during the event, as well as online at www.blueticket.pt or Worten, Fnac and Media Markt stores.
