In a bid to raise awareness about animal abandonment and promote a healthy lifestyle, a dog walk is taking place on Tuesday, September 12 in Albufeira.
The event, known as a ‘Cãominhada’, is open to everyone and starts at 8pm in Vale das Pedras, near the secondary school. Participants can also volunteer to walk one of the municipal kennel’s dogs.
Organisers encourage people to take along donations of food and other animal essentials for the Pata Ativa association.
