Albufeira hosted another successful edition of the Festa do Basquetebol Juvenil, the largest youth basketball event in Portugal, from April 11 to 16.
Over 850 athletes took part in the event, which provides youngsters with a chance to compete at a high level.
But as Albufeira mayor José Carlos Rolo pointed out, it also helps promote “core values such as fair play, camaraderie, and friendship”.
