Six Albufeira firemen travelled to Ashbourne, Dublin in May to take part in Ireland’s RTC and Trauma Challenge 2016, organised by Rescue Organisation Ireland (ROI).
The event brought together Irish and international brigades to learn from each other and show off their skills in a variety of challenges.
“We thank the County Meat station and their Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officer Padraig O’Longaigh for inviting us and giving us the opportunity to display our skills, compete and interact with other fire brigades,” said Nuno Correia, spokesperson for Albufeira’s firefighters.
