The identity of the 28-year-old man who died earlier this week after plunging 5-storeys from an Albufeira apartment block has now been revealed.
Alexander Williams was a sub-editor with Sky Sports Digital Media, and as British media has explained, was enjoying a “lads’ holiday” with Sky Sports News presenter Tom White and another friend (click here).
White has already spoken of his heartbreak at discovering his friend’s death.
White and the other friend on the holiday were asleep when Williams fell to his death in what police believe was a tragic accident.
The men had all been on a “night of heavy drinking”, according to reports – while an autopsy is thought to have confirmed this.
Correio da Manhã adds that Williams was a “specialist in cycling, American football and tennis”.
