A SOPHISTICATED fashion show and sound and light spectacular will launch the traditional Albufeira Day celebrations on August 19, at 9.30pm, with an open-air display in front of the Câmara.
The event brings a major fashion show that aims to place Albufeira alongside other international fashion centres. Well known designers, stylists, models and show business figures, as well as socialites and Albufeira residents, will be attending.
Among the designers will be João Rolo, José Pacheco, Tony Miranda, Rita Bonaparte and Paulo Azenha. Top models will include Sofia Aparício, Diana Pereira, Nayma, Fiona, Carla Matadinho, Bianca, Isabel Pereira, Nuno Lopes, Pedro Martim, Vikki, Orsi Feier, Flor, Filipe Gomes, José Carlos Pereira, Bruno and Andreia Dinis. Actress and singer Wanda Stuart, Fado singer Lenita Gentil and mezzo-soprano Helena Vieira will also be present. Hosts for the evening will be popular presenters Sónia Araújo and Fernanda Serrano.
