Albufeira council has launched a free door-to-door ‘green refuse’ collection service for the summer, open to everyone. All people have to do to make use of it is call 808 202 274. The service will remove “objects of large dimension” as well as anything else that is not regular domestic waste. The idea is to keep the town ‘clear of unsightly piles of rubbish’ beside bins during the busy season.
