The final part of the integration of Alba Villas into the Epikurean hotel group has seen Frederick Maclean being appointed as director of the resort located near to Carvoeiro.
Formerly known as the Suites Alba Resort & Spa, the resort has undergone rebranding since becoming part of the Epikurean group earlier this year.
The Alba Villas by Epikurean resort became part of the group after the original owner, former footballing star Luís Figo, bought a share in the group that has resorts in South East Asia with Alba Villas being the first European resort in the group’s portfolio.
Frederick Maclean will be leading the newly branded resort and boasts more than 30 years of experience in the industry including working in Australia, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam.
“This is an excellent opportunity to develop and enhance all the facets of the resort to be able to offer the highest levels of unique services,” said Frederick Maclean.
