Beer lovers in the Algarve have another event to look forward to. After last weekend’s beer fest in Lagos, now it’s Faro’s turn to host its own Alameda Beer Fest from July 4 to 6.
A total of 29 beer producers are taking part, with 140 varieties of craft beer available.
The event will be held at the Jardim da Alameda square and will also feature street food, live music and entertainment.
Faro council, one of the organisers, says the event has become one of the most popular of its kind “in the south of the Iberian Peninsula, attracting leading beer producers”.
The event opens on all three days at 6pm and runs until 1am on Thursday and until 2am on Friday and Saturday. Admission is free.
