The perfume “encapsulates all the senses of the Algarve”, says the resort
Vila Vita Parc, in cooperation with acclaimed Portuguese brand Comporta Perfumes, has launched its new perfume Al Sul, a fragrance signed by perfumer Chris Maurice and created exclusively for the resort, which recalls the aromas and ambiences of the Algarve.
With subtle marine notes and hints of fig, orange, jasmine, pine nuts, vanilla and Tonka bean, Al Sul “encapsulates all of the senses of the Algarve”, says the resort, “taking us on an olfactory journey of days spent by the sea, where everything seems to flow easily and be sweet, just like fruit picked straight from the trees. The fragrance conjures up the scent and the sensation of the sea breeze on the skin, of golden sand between your toes, blended with the saltiness in the air and the sound of seagulls”.
As a tribute to what best defines the Algarve, the packaging was also designed with this in mind, highlighting the texture of the typical white washed walls, the colours of the sky and the sea, the cliffs and the sunset. Whilst the design was entirely the responsibility of Vila Vita’s internal team of designers, the glass bottles were produced by renowned Portuguese brand Vista Alegre.
Each unit of this perfume contains 100ml and is available for €240 in the V-Life Shops at the resort.
The Comporta Perfumes are described as “niche perfumes that tell a story and an experience”. The brand currently boasts 10 perfumes, most of them based on natural essential oils and all in bottles produced exclusively by Vista Alegre, which represent the Comporta surroundings and has its entire landscape as inspiration.
