Music, food and arts are the highlights of Albufeira’s Al-Buhera festival, which started on Wednesday and is taking place until Sunday (July 30) at the town’s Praça dos Pescadores. There are hundreds of stalls selling everything from decorative art to jewellery and food, including the Algarve’s famous honey, liqueurs, dried fruits, jams and canned goods. Doors open at 7pm and close at 1am. Musical performances start every night at 9pm. Admission is free.
