Airport passenger traffic in Portugal was up 1.4% in the first four months of the year when compared to the same period in 2011. A total of 2.4 million passengers used the country’s five ANA managed airports from January to April. In April, the low cost carrier segment recorded a 2.5% growth on the same month last year, but overall airport passenger traffic was actually down 1.6%.
