BRITISH AIRWAYS has been voted the Airline of the Year by frequent flyers all over the world, for the fifth time in the award’s 25-year history.

It was voted Best Europe – Asia/Australasia Airline, Best Transatlantic and Best Airline based in Western Europe as well as best economy, business and first class. British Airways CEO, Willie Walsh, accepted the awards on behalf of the company at a gala dinner in London. Director General of British Airways in the Iberian Peninsula, Jordi Porcel, said that they were pleased with the recognition, especially since the voters were passengers.
