ALBUFEIRA HAS signed a protocol to begin work with the movement for the support of AIDS (MAPS) within the municipality.
MAPS provide support and education to diverse groups within society relating to AIDS, including drug abusers, homeless members of society and immigrants.
Albufeira Câmara is providing 15,600 euros to MAPS to help them with their work in the area and to tackle problems such as xenophobia, social exclusion and poverty.
