An afpop afternoon of family fun and food demonstrations has been organised to take place on Sunday, September 25 at the Martinhal Beach Resort near Sagres from 2pm until 6pm.
The event is free and everyone is welcome to take part with family beach games, a sand sculpture competition, kayaking and ball games, all taking place between 2pm and 4pm and led by the experienced leisure team from Martinhal.
This will be followed by a welcome cocktail at the As Dunas Restaurant within the resort between 4pm and 6pm, and later an opportunity to learn how to prepare a cataplana using fresh ingredients with show cooking demonstrations and wine tasting from the Quinta do Barranco Longo winery.
The afternoon has been designed to be a way for afpop members, their family and friends to meet the afpop staff and for non members to learn about the services provided by the association.
