Adverts pulled

LEXUS IS the latest company to be forced to remove advertising in the UK after the advertising standards agency (ASA) deemed their environmental claims to be misleading.

The advert for the Lexus RX400h claimed that the model was “better for the environment” yet failed to reveal exactly who or what it was better than.

In the past year, Daihatsu, Citroen and Mitsubishi have all been chastised by the ASA for their unsubstantiated environmental claims.
