PORTUGUESE RAILWAY company, CP, is inviting Lisbon residents to travel by train along the Tejo River to Castelo Branco, in the Beira Alta region.
The programme is called Comboio Aventura (adventure train) with the train leaving Santa Apolónia railway station every Saturday at 8am.
The train’s programme includes extreme sports in Belver, visits to historic towns like Vila Velha de Ródão, cultural walks and boat journeys.
