Adrian Belew is coming to Portugal to perform at Santiago Alquimista in Lisbon on October 4.
Adrian Belew born in Covington, Kentucky, US, is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer.
He is perhaps best known for his work as a member of the progressive rock group King Crimson and for his unusual impressionistic approach to guitar playing, involving arresting yet frequently melodic sounds more akin to animals and machines than to standard instrumental tones.
Widely recognised as an incredibly versatile player, he has released nearly 20 solo albums. His 2005 single Beat Box Guitar was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Rock Instrumental Performance category.
He has worked extensively as a session and touring musician, most famously with Talking Heads, David Bowie, Caifanes, Frank Zappa and Nine Inch Nails.
