With the intention of using his profile to the country’s advantage, Joaquim de Almeida has accepted the invitation of the Algarve Film Commission to help promote the region as a filming location. The actor’s support is seen as key to achieving the Commission’s aims for regional economic development in the audiovisual and cinema industry.
