Animal abuse is all over Portugal, often in a horrible way! But we all can act and, in my opinion, it’s our duty to do so: Portugal has just upped its animal protection laws and the GNR police have a special unit for animal abuse called SEPNA (tel: 808 200 520, email: [email protected]). So it’s ON US to inform them! Please do not think twice and call them (I have not had good experiences with email in Portugal, so if you do email please follow up by phone if nothing happens).
