Academic chefs

Algarve Chef Augusto Lima, known for his Mediterranean-inspired dishes, is representing Portugal at an event organised by the University of Gastronomic Sciences (Unisg) in Italy from April 8 to 12. Twenty-five chefs from nine countries are participating in the ‘Tavole Accademiche’ project, being held in the castle of Pollenzo, Bra, in the region of Piedmont. Whilst cooking, chefs will be sharing experience and knowledge. Unisg has been established by Carlos Petrini, the founder of the Slow Food Movement.
