Armação de Pêra is preparing for the popular annual Charity Santa Parade, now in its eighth year, taking place along the town’s promenade on Saturday, December 7 at 10am.
The event will include activities for all ages. Participants can choose to either walk or ride their bicycle, guided by BTT Algarve Maniacs. To start it off, Angelo of Urban Gym Health Club will provide some warm-up exercises.
Participation is free, but organisers ask anyone who wants to join them to bring some food items. Preferred items are olive oil and packets of milk, but any dried food items will be accepted.
Say organisers: “On foot or by bicycle, enjoy the day while helping to raise food to be distributed to the poor.
“All donations offered (including money) will be greatly and gratefully appreciated. No donation is too small.”
To attend, participants just need to be at the Holiday Inn Algarve on the day at 10am wearing their Santa Claus suit!
