A group of 16 members and friends of the St Andrew’s Society of the Algarve participated in a walk last week organised by Vice Chieftain Rod Frew.
Having parked north of Carrapateira in the western Algarve, the group set off on good level ground through fields of wild flowers, however to enjoy views of the coastline on the other side of the hill walkers completed a challenging short but steep climb.
After the walk, the group repaired to the nearby restaurant, Sítio do Forno, which is located on a cliff-top, providing locally-caught fresh fish.
The Society’s upcoming events include a wine tasting supper, a beetle drive and the Saint Andrew’s Ball.
