Alte, in Loulé council, is again hosting its traditional ‘wedding celebrations’ and folklore festival on Saturday August 13, from 6pm.
The celebrations aim to recreate the wedding ceremonies of old times in the village and invite the ‘guests’ to take part and enjoy typical rural gastronomy, folk music and to admire the costumes donned for
the occasion.
The event, which is free to attend, is organised by the Alte Folk Dance Group, with sponsorship from
Loulé Câmara.
