A third of Portuguese businesses unwilling to switch to electronic billing

Only 29% of Portuguese businesses have converted to electronic billing, a recent study has revealed, although many more realise the advantages of the system.

ACEPI, the association of electronic commerce and interactive publicity, explains the lack of interest as predominantly down to the costs involved. Of the 35% of companies studying the subject, 34% decide not to go ahead. The study concludes: “There is a long way to go”.
