THE SPECTACULAR flavours of Scotland were on the menu at Crawfords – a little taste of Scotland – recently, when the restaurant held a very successful whisky tasting evening in Lagos Marina. Whisky connoisseur, Terry O’Brien, and his wife Barbara provided guests with a history of Scotland’s national drink and details of each ‘dram’ on the tasting menu which included some famous malt whiskies such as Laphroaig (Islay), Highland Park (Orkney) and Glenkinchie (East Lothian).
Crawfords plan to hold more evenings featuring Scottish food tastings with perhaps, some Portuguese wines to show the best of the products from both countries.
