A show of culinary flavours, with emphasis on the different ways of preparing and serving mackerel, will be available in a gourmet and fun seven-day event in Olhão from May 20 to 26.
Participating restaurants will have to present their own individual dish of mackerel, fresh or preserved. In attendance during the week will be the well known chef José Cordeiro and, coupled with the eating and drinking, will be late night entertainment and animation in the town’s bars and restaurants.
The event comes as a result of collaboration with Docapesca, the restaurants in the municipality and Real Marina Hotel & Spa.
Restaurants wishing to take part in the event should visit the Olhão Câmara website for more information and register at the Balcão Único do Município de Olhão by May 3 up.
