Restaurant Review – Nelitos Restaurante & Tapas Bar
Recently reopened and refurbished, Nelitos Restaurante & Tapas Bar in Almancil offers a new dining concept.
Located on the Vale do Lobo road from Almancil, the restaurant is warm and welcoming, offering several areas to sit and enjoy a delicious meal.
Dine on the veranda, or inside the tastefully decorated dining room, displaying paintings from local artists. For those who prefer to eat al fresco, choose the delightful summer terrace. Relax on comfortable seating in the new bar area, whilst enjoying a drink, and perhaps reading or watching what is happening in Brazil.
Owners Linda and Manuel Teixeira have paid great attention to detail in planning their new menus, offering a tapas-style menu with interesting choices.
If you have a hearty appetite, check out the main menu choices which include freshly-made pasta dishes, homemade pizzas and tasty meat dishes, all served with freshly-prepared vegetables or salads. If you enjoy fish, then choose from a selection of fresh fish dishes, and finish with a mouth-watering dessert.
Take-away pizzas and pastas are also available.
Nelitos boasts an extensive, quality wine list or you could choose your wine from the barrel as posted on the blackboard.
Gluten-free dishes are also on offer and children are catered for with a varied menu.
It is open for lunch, with a three course meal available for €13.50. Dinner is from 6.30pm to 11pm.
