An event to celebrate the life and work of Irish novelist and satirist Brian O’Nolan is taking place at the Estrela Hall in Lisbon on Friday, November 18, at 9.30pm.
Selected readings from the humorist, also known as Flann O’Brien and Myles na gCopaleen, “will be served with a pint of plain or a glass of wine”, said a spokesman for the organisers, the Irish Association in conjunction with the Lisbon Players.
