Monty’s restaurant in Vale do Lobo is hosting a dinner party on February 24 from 7.30pm to celebrate Carnival week and raise funds for the new animal sanctuary in Goldra.
Tickets, at €25, include a donation of €5 to the charity, a three-course meal, half a bottle of wine, live music and dancing.
There will also be a raffle to raise additional funds.
The sanctuary, which relies on donations and public support, aims to provide temporary accommodation for stray and abandoned animals (see Algarve Resident, January 27 issue).
