Sandra Boto, a teacher at the University of the Algarve, will be presenting her top five most interesting Portuguese writers during a talk on Monday, March 10 at 6pm in the Municipal Library Tavira.
Sandra ́s talk will address questions such as, which criteria do we use to select our favourite authors? How do we recognise whether a literary work will change our lives?
This presentation is not an academic lecture, but a personal talk on Portuguese literature and writers. Sandra will present the list of her top five Portuguese authors, and discuss this personal selection. She will then guide the audience on a short journey through the history of Portuguese Literature.
The event is organised by the Algarve History Association.
