For several years, the association for foreign residents and visitors to Portugal (AFPOP) has run a programme of seminars for its members and potential ones.
AFPOP’s management council considers that the time has now come to extend the programme to cover a wider range of topics on a continual basis.
To that end AFPOP is seeking to appoint an entity or person under contract to direct and manage this programme. It is envisaged that the appointed contractor will operate on a turnkey basis, being responsible for the development, sales and delivery of all seminars in accordance with a plan submitted by the contractor and approved by AFPOP at the outset.
AFPOP will provide an agreed level of administration support and would seek to recover the associated costs from the contractor.
Interested parties are invited to submit non-binding bids, including the bidder’s profile (background, history and capacity), their relevant experience and any other pertinent information the bidder chooses to include by April 27, to AFPOP – Apartado 728, 8501-917 Portimão.
AFPOP will consider the non-binding bids and will pre-qualify bidders by April 30.
The result of the pre-qualification process will be communicated to all pre-qualifying bidders on that same date, at which time the successful pre-qualified bidders will be invited to a clarification meeting with AFPOP representatives, preparatory to submission by them of binding proposals by a date to be agreed.
