If you want to hit straighter golf shots and get rid of your tailing fade, it is important to address the golf ball correctly.
If you have a tendency to fade or slice the golf ball excessively, then it would benefit you to setup to the ball with a strong grip and a slightly closed stance.
These are two “anti-slice” measures that are very effective and will keep you from fading the golf ball too much.
A closed stance promotes an inside out golf swing, and keeps you from coming over the top during your downswing.
Having a strong grip means that three or more knuckles are showing on your top hand when you look down; this keeps the clubface closed throughout the golf swing, thus encouraging a draw and reducing the chances of hitting a shot with too much of a fade or slice ball flight.
